Looking for input on new host

    Hi all,

we're currently forced to look into a new webhost, unfortunately relatively urgently, and wanted to ask for input from you guys around here. The website is www . metal-observer . com and it is a pretty big puppy. We'd need a VPS with about 512MB of RAM and WHM/CPanel control panel, mySQL of course is a gimme.
So far we shared a VPS with someone else with ServInt, but while being excellent in service, they are not cheap, so we'd like to find someone, who can host with 99.9 uptime (and that not just on paper) and still affordable pricing.

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks!

    Alex

1st ur in wrong section , you should be in : http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=103 and second like i posted there few mins. back try www.kevworks.net , if they are in your budget, they have been reliable for me so far !

Mind you they are unmanaged, and plus it helps also if you post a budget.

    Cheers

Do you mind hosting it in a Ded. Server ran by an individual?

    Hey there,

Try the offers section - its http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=104 - and you can find very good offers there. Do you have a budget in mind?

What exactly is your price range? You say you have a fairly big website, how much bandwidth will you need? Do you need managed or can you handle that side yourself?

Now ServInt is not very expensive for managed VPS (and very reasonable compared to what they give you) so I'm going to guess you want unmanaged to meet your budget if you think they are expensive.

Like mentioned I would take a look at the offers section and then research the reputation here then start contacting them.

    Good luck
