    Dedicatedbox Help please.

    Well, my parnet, Mark Dorsch, accidently ordered for Windows 2003 Server Web Edition and modified a bit and had it for one day. I didn't know the difference between Windows 2003 Server Web Edition and Windows 2003 Server Standard Addition so I just started playing around with the server a bit. I am wondering , DedicatedBox, if I can switch to standard for 5$ instead of a full 25$. Me and my friend , Mark, are partners in this and I specifically told him to get standard but he made a mistake and selected Web. I found about this just now and I am hoping you could change my OS to Standard for 5$.

    If the registered owner contacts us through the support system,
    then I guess we can upgrade you for the extra $5.
    Note that you will pay $25 USD/Month though so that your monthly price goes up with $5 per month too.

    I think we can arrange it for sure that you dont have to pay the full $25, but, perhaps unfortunately for you, we will have to charge you a $30 one-time OS Restore fee for having to format and reinstall the operating system, as described in our policy's.

    Basically put:
    You most likely dont have to pay $55 USD, but it will atleast be $35 USD to change the operating system to standard.

    Anyway,
    as already said, this is a public forum, so please make the registered owner contact us on either sales or through the support ticket system.

    Unfortunately,
    we can not provide any (financial) information to you, nor can we change the operating system for you, as you are a third party.
    The client will have to contact us directly to authorise it.
    I am sure you can understand this as we have to protect our clients.
