Do you make a living online?
How many people here actually pay all your bills including rent from online work? If so I'm interested in learning your secrets.
I personally used to make allot of money online by outsourcing web design work and marketing up my services.

Ummm, there's no "secrets" to making a living working online. It's the same as making a living offline. I trade services for money and I use this money to fund my businesses and pay my bills at home. That's pretty much the "secret".

Exactly. I've owned both online and offline businesses. I can't say they are any different, except with the online business I get to work from home in my jammies if I want to.
Yes, online busiensses pay all of our personal bills except health insurances and related bills.

I have been making a living online for about 34 years now ( edit: lol that was a typo, but I'll leave it in because it's funny. I meant to type "3" years -- lol). However, most of that income is derived from copious amounts of coding and SEO, which is just not sustainable if you want to actually have a life too.
I am trying very hard to get some "automated" income happening. I am slowly getting there. I hope that in the next year or so I'll be making at least enough to "live on", as a passive income.
Then I will have all my time to myself, and I'll spend the time and effort that I am giving away to ungrateful people on my own projects and will immediately experience a great income boost from that point. That's the plan

Remote systems administration, nothing like cracking open an eyelid at 2:57pm, wiping away the eyecrust and being at work at 3:00pm :-) Speaking of which, time for work...

I've ran offline business and online businesses.. in my experience online business is more demanding (time wise) but a lot eaiser. I've ran 2 offline busiensses, and most of them were physically demanding.

I've owned an online business of some sort since the 90s... I'd have to say it depends on the online business, but I don't find them to be demanding time wise. Some are very easy (buy a domain, put ads on it) or hard (years of software development).
My offline businesses are about the same... depends... I'll never forget the first time a small company paid to listen to me talk for an hour... and for me to provide my recommendations... lol.. that was a hoot.
