    * Email probs not getting through

    Hi,

Im still having major problems with my current vps and mail issues, all mail sent out from vps doesnt reach mail box or junk folders

i have rdns spf, simular setup to other vps's i have, all other work fine, this one a no goer

not blacklisted or on any lists, mail headers look ok (well from my view)

Fully managed but very poor support so far, not moaning but not overall impressed

any experts out there that could shed some light on my problem

Have you checked your mailserver logs? You should find there some hints about what's wrong.

From the VPS can you telnet to the remote servers on port 25? Is local DNS resolvers setup correctly? Anything in the mail log (/var/log/maillog or /var/log/exim*log)?

    Hi

Yes i'm able to telnet the server on port 25

can you sugest a site to check dns, dnsreports now is pay only, could do with a decent one again to use

there are no erros in logs, all looks fairly normal

The managed support isnt great tho, this is making me have big doubts

thanks for the link, seems to have the right info

I had an email from the support service, my VPS was setup in Virtuosso with wrong server name compared to plesks mailer, I thought this would of been picked up first day rather then days and every suport staff

Still got the same problem though, but will give it another week before binning it and getting another servint one
