Another Recommendation Thread?
Hey All, so I've been looking around all morning, and can't come up with any solid choices.... But here's what I need.
Less then 5 gigs space, mainly used for an Online Resume and Image Gallery Storage...
5-10 Gigs transfer..
And looking to spend as little as I can (under 10), but still have great uptime.
Mainly, I need a host to continue my email service, which is currently through Dreamhost. Right now I'm paying 10.85 a month and the uptime is no where near 99%.

Since you are with DreamHost, and they have their own control panel, do you have a control panel preference when picking a different web host? There are plenty of choices available to choose from such as cPanel, Plesk, Hsphere, DirectAdmin and more.
Any other requirements?
Since your needs are not out of this world and budget is pretty good, you shouldn't have too much trouble finding a web host. Be sure to search for reviews before choosing a company, don't just settle on one but pick 4-5 companies and search for feedback on all of them before making your final decision.
Avoid companies that are major oversellers.

No, not really, cpanel looks a little bit easier to use then dreamhost's is.
But The main thing is that the hosting is for email and online file storage, not necessarily a web site since the site that will be on there will be very small. I'd just like not to be spending almost 11 a month for the ability to have an email addy not through my ISP.
---EDIT---
One of the issues that I'm having though is that the market is flooded with comparably priced hosts, and reviewing them on here brings me 1-2 reviews of each one. So picking one of them becomes hard, so I wanted to see if anyone had any specific recommendation to my needs.

If you are using the hosting account for online file storage, be sure to check the TOS/AUP of the host of your choice or ask the host directly as most host prohibits you to use your account as file hosting unless the files has something to do with the content of your site.

Oh thank you for the tip. I will check into that.
Also, what I'm finding is a whole bunch of host that I wouldn't trust at all. And this is from the shared hosting offers section. Can anyone recommend any?

If uptime is important for you, the following may help:
http://www.hyperspin.com/en/ranking.php?type=1
It's a list of certain hosts and their respective uptime.
Getting a shortlist from there, then searching here for reviews may be a good idea

And I just re-read my post... " if uptime is important for you"... you know what I mean (i.e. of course it's important lol!)

Make a shortlist of 5-6 hosts fitting your needs (do yourself a favor, and avoid to get an account where you get 400 GB of space if you're only using 5-10 GB), and then use http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php to find reviews about them.

Have a Go...
Basically what Jedito has mentioned would be a great start. Choose the hosts and Compare them, See which ones offer:
Reliable Service
Reliable 99% Uptime
A Money Back Guarantee (30 or 60 Days)
Search WHT Forum for Reviews on each host.
Though avoid the ones that are offering such great space and speeds for very little price.
I Have my own hosting service and we do not oversell as we do not feel it is appropriate, Others may have different opinions on this but we try and keep our service as genuine as possible.
But yeah, Do follow what other members have said and I believe in no time you will find a fast and reliable service.
Wish you the Best
