Anyone with Volume Drive facing network issues ?

Hiya,
Anyone who is hosted with VD, facing any network issues, as all my sites are not working, cpanel, ftp etc works, but pinging and tracerouting from hyperspin etc are all stating connection timeouts, siteuptime reports httpd down, entire server was rebuild, recompiled and the techs say , its the DC side. From what i hear from administration , that ips are not configured correctly for serber.

So wondering here if anyone else with servers from VD getting affecting or noticing timeouts and network issues.

It takes me 5-10 mins to login to ssh alone. Accessing it via ip not domain name etc...

Even turning firewall off does nothing, reboot server does nothing , restart apache does nothing same timeouts over and over. Bunny is now gonaa pull some more hair !!

Cheers

Yup sure i broke the httpd right after fresh reload of OS ?

And yes i am suppose to be at new location. Nothing yet from jeff or josh as to where lies the issue, if its network or mismanagment etc. etc.

Its like sitting in the dark waiting for something to happen.

Have done recompiles of apache, php like 2 times already !!

Cheers

Did you check that the gateway is properly added to /etc/sysconfig/network ?
Also check your /etc/hosts and /etc/resolv.conf

I have servers on Volumedrive's new and old networks and all are running just fine

Make sure IPv6 is disabled if you aren't using it. If the issue isn't network related, it's likely doing an ipv6 lookup, failing and going to ipv4. Check dmesg.

Maybe more can kev elaborate as to what was "F" up. As what he told me went shoowishingly fast over my bunny ears !!

Oh thanks josh/jeff ( or the 2 J's as they are known as or will be from now on ) for trying to help.

Bunny,

Not a problem. Your problem was definitely related to a apache config.
