I wouldn't really class that as being free. It is only free for a single login, which with what the OP wants to do is somewhat pointless.

Take a look at VHCS/ispCP Omega too. I've used both although the latter isn't so great as I have found it to eat CPU like no tomorrow. However that is only inclusive of linux.

fins: What OS are you planning on running this on, Windows or Linux?

There is zPanel but I honestly don't know whether its usable Last time I used it was about 3 years ago and it was trash, nothing really worked properly.

ISPConfig is supposed to be pretty good, works with a bog standard LAMP setup and written by the guy who does the majority of tutorials on www.howtoforge.com So thats probably worth a look.

Why do you say that? What makes you think that a product such as Direct Admin is better than a product which is free / Open Source?

Directadmin is easy to configure and setup, and there is support if things go wrong. For open source free product, not saying it is inferior but normally it is harder to setup and support is not readily available.

How is Free & Open Source => not safe for users?

Active projects are also updated all the time. Just look at all those patches when a vulnerabilty is found.

For free, my recommendation is Webmin, its easy to setup, theme based, easy to upgrade, and so many module out there.

if you need it for blog hosting system, zervex servercp wont be of any use because it treats all domains as addon domain of hostname. virtualmin is fine, but i suggest you go lxadmin vps, lxadmin is always free in hypervm vps.
