    * I need cheap dedicated machine inbound traffic

I need a machine as part of a redundant cluster. Constant INBOUND bandwidth averages about 20,000 bytes/second [Actually about a gig/month]. Outbound is near zero as it's just administration by shell and VNC. Machine needs to have some CPU horsepower to run KDE but not much RAM or disc needed. I don't care where the server is on the planet or if it's hosted in a space-age datacenter or under your bong. Reliable [uninterrupted] connections and low latency are, of course, paramont. I don't want the machine rebooted often. Things happen and you may reboot rarely, but I can smell rednecks and morons across cyberspace. If you are not a moron or redneck then hit me up. Please no augspurger syndrome goofballs, either. In case I'm not clear: the emphasis is on CHEAP unmanaged FreeBSD dedicated for redundancy. I will not send you retarded support requests, unless the chick at the nightclub slips me a roofie. That can happen to anyone, right?

I am NOT mailing, spamming, torrenting, filesharing, porning, IRCing, trojaning, portscanning blah blah blah. No reasonable AUP refused.

I see $30 machines around here. How much can you beat that?

    20K/second is roughly 50G/month.

Perhaps a VPS will work and it can be cheaper than $30/month.

Nah, I polled the transfer on my NAT interface the traffic totaled less than five gigs and that comprises tons of other traffic that won't happen on this machine. That must be the burst, if such a name can describe such puny bandwidth.

VPS lacks the CPU for the job.

Companies aren't allowed to post offers here so, your best bet would be looking for some reviews, picking out a bunch of good companies & contacting them with your personal request.

I'd check out the offers forum, but it'll be hard to beat $30...

Then you are not constantly pushing 20K/second.

VPS lacks the CPU for the job.
At $30/month server, VPS can in fact have more CPU power. Not only that, you are getting junk with $30/month server (old IDE drive, old CPUs, etc). With VPS, you can get raided disk system, burtable memory, burstable CPU, and so on.
