need colo for first time server on west coast
Hi There,
I'm colo'ing my first server, and I'm a little nervous about sending my server to the mainland (I'm in Hawaii) for colo. I was looking at Pacific Rack, and also at iWeb. Can anybody comment on these or recommend anybody else? I just need very basic 1U colo. Dependability and low ping times from Hawaii are my main priorities. Preferably something that Time Warner is tied into since most Hawaii residents use Road Runner cable modems.
I'm going to be running a dedicated zimbra server.
Thank You for your help!
Tony

This is what I can get local on Oahu for $200/month in someone's rack.
* I have a 10 Mbit dedicated Ethernet handoff. I will be putting
multiple users on this circuit and monitoring each customers usage. If
usage becomes excessive I will then implement a 3mbit bandwidth cap or
offer more bandwidth at a higher price.
* Each customer gets 2 10/100 Mbit ports on a Cisco 3550-EMI switch.
* Each customer will be behind a Cisco PIX.
* Each customer will have unlimited public addresses.
* Each customer will have IP KVM access.
* Each customer will have their own vlan with NATed addresses.
