I installed webalizer about a month ago and everything was working fine on it. Then out of no where it just stopped displaying stats. I am not sure if it is the cron jobs or an apache logging issue....anyone have any suggestions as to how i can get to the bottom of this???
Try restarting httpd and crond and see if it is generating anything.
You might want to manually run webalizer and see if there is any change in stats. If there is, you can be sure that there is no logging problem.
Do you have any very large sites? If so, it can take webalizer forever to process the logs. It may be running but just never finishing.
From a shell prompt you can issue:
ps -ef | egrep webalizer
That should find any webalizer.pl process running. If you want to run it manually, the script is in /etc/cron.daily/
cPanel | Softaculous | CloudLinux | R1Soft | Ksplice
Web Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS, Dedicated Servers, Colocation
i have restarted both crond and httpd and ran the webalizer script manually but it still shows on the top of the html page that it was generated 3 days ago???
