Henrikk,

If you are looking to get a dedicated server so that you can host those types of services yourself I recommend searching for a powerful dedicated server (100$-150$/month).

People who host (sell) the game servers usually have very powerful dedicated servers with either a Windows, or Linux operating system.

If you are interested in setting up your own hosting company to host bnc's you can get a good dedicated server for a fairly low price (between $80.00-$100/month) but I do not recommend hosting gameservers on a Dedicated Server that IRC BNC's are hosted on as IRC services are high risk.

We run a CS and TF2 server internally on a 1GB vps, and runs smooth as a physical dedicated server. You might want to look for some type of fast hardrives, or at least SATA RAID10.

I'm sure theres cheaper and easier way (if your not technical), than a dedicated server.
