Need advice about Dedicated Server
Hello,
I am from Indonesia.
Now I am using a dedicated server from DedicatedNow. ($105/monthly)
I am searching for dedicated server with higher specification (multi core) with same price or below, or a little-bit higher. With minimum hops from Indonesia.
I have looked around, I have found severals recommendation, favorite companies from members with good prices and good servers specification.
Uk2.net
OVH
Rapidswitch
Openmindservers
ManageMyBox
Actually, I satisfied with DedicatedNow, so my plan to move my clients to others is really based on server prices.
I really need advice, so I can choose the right dedicated server company.
Thanks a lot, in advance.

Hi,
Is that price for server only? Are you looking for Managed? and that litte bit, how much can you go? The host can then suggest if you will give more info in your requirements. Good luck in your search.
Thanks,

Those specs for $105 a month is actually not too bad. For your upgrade, do you have a higher budget or are you hoping to get lucky?

If you are satisfied with your current host, why not ask them if they can give you a better deal for little extra!!

Most (decent) hosts will want to negotiate the retention of your business. So, if you explain where you're trying to be, they should at least make an attempt you get you there.

try to send an email to every company's sales department, and see which one from the list specified has the best offer.

I just left DedicatedNow due to their change in billing policies and terrible support response times and went with Sago Networks sagonet.com . Their prices were reasonable and reviews were ok. Now I cant say long term how they are but short term they had me set up in about 12 hours, and everything is going good so far
