    Exclamation hsphere - cpanel

    Yeah, its an insane question.

    migrating a static ( HTML ) site from HSphere to Cpanel.

    Anyone done it via a non-pain causing technique?

    Ive also got 100+ mail accounts to move from HSphere to Cpanel, any easier way other than manual?

    Any advice would be appreciated, my monkeys hide whenever i mention HSphere.

    Regards,
    Logan

    email, not totally possible. html files, you could just rsync all of them over.

    cd /hsphere/local/home/someuser/somedomain.com/
    rsync -av '*.html' [email protected]:/home/someuser/public_html/

    I wonder why you would move to cpanel??? Especially the mail system...

    Anyways for mail:
    cd hsphere/local/var/vpopmail/domains (wherever your mail is)
    tar czvf domain_email.tgz domain/*/Maildir/*

    move to cpanel server to /home/user/mail
    tar xzvf domain_email.tgz
    for i in `ls domain/` ; do for j in `ls domain/*/Maildir` ; do mv domain/$i/Maildir/$j domain/$i/$j ; done; done;
    chown -R user:user domain

    (Use at your own risk)
