It can be restarted by restarting exim. Or using script /scripts/restartsrv_clamd. It checks the messages for viruses with exim. You can scan files/folders for viruses using the following command.

    clamscan -r /path/to/folder

Thanks, clamscan -r /path/to/folder was what I need, because this is my problem:

Someone inyected an iframe code in a php website, and it is loading a trojan file to every computer that it is visiting the site.. With clamd scanning the home directory maybe it will find the trojan?

Any suggestions will be appreciated, thanks again!

Yes, clamscan will scan the files for known viruses.
