What do you think about Alexa ranking ? about the change method analysis rank today... Do you agree with this situation

Whole the sites in the world have changed ranking, it was reach to a high rank.

Alexa is still poop, because their sample is poop. I would use Hitwise or Compete if I were you.

I don't know how about the other country but in Viet Nam, whole the webmaster are using alexa to measure about their site.

I don't mean alexa is the best site measure about website exactly 100%.

Alexa can't be considered a good tool to measure the traffic of the website as it shows the results based on those people who have alexa toolbar in their computers. Compete is a good one but recently it was not working. There is also a website quancast.com.
The most simple thing that webmasters can use for their websites is Google Analytics and webmaster tools from google.

Our traffic thankfully increases every single month yet the Alexa report is like a zig zag sailboat run

It doens't work for me and I don't take it as a reliable source of metrics information. But some advertising networks do it, so we still need to consider it as legitimate and influential in site metrics.

Like so many things Alexa somehow gained and undeserved reputation from the unknowing who continue to perpetuate the myth.

Want a great Alexa rank?

Download a copy of the toolbar - one each for you and your significant other, your kids, your co-workers, all the members of the high school computer club, etc and offer some sort of a reward if they each click thru to your site five times a day for a month.

You may be amazed to find that although your site traffic as reported by your stats program has not changed much you will have amazing Alexa rankings.

alexa ranking is rank based on the alexa toolbared browsers. If you manage to get statistics how many people use alexa toolbar you will understand how exact the statisticas is.

You can also try quantcast.com as a way to gauge traffic stats of other sites.
