Here are a few questions to help you narrow scope of your search.

Do you need managed or unmanaged hosting?

    What is your budget?

What kind of hardware did you have in mind?

I see you mean you want to get a server home and not lease them?
If so, you could have a look at Dell, HP and IBM. They have direct sales.

If you are not restricted by brand name you may find out Supermicro barebone and make your server youself. Also, you can contact http://www.apaqdigital.com/. But, i think best way will be just contact to local computer shop where you can buy server cheapest.

Do you mean a barebone server?

There are plenty of options if you want your servers to be setup/used in the us. Otherwise, I guess the internatinal shipping cost plus tax wont justify the cost, better go directly with DELL or HP in Malaysia.

Have you tried Chamoxa Malaysia? I got most of my servers from their Singapore office. They have a Malaysia branch.

    Red face

My main issue to buy box from US is the power supply, they use 110V and we use here 220V ( Paris/FRANCE )... But its not real big issue...

correct me if I'm wrong. But I think most power supply are interchangeable between 110-220V, aren't they?. The two (OCZ and APEVIA) I bought recently have a switch for 110V or 220V.
