    WHMCS

    Hi,

We have two reseller accounts. A Linux account with "Company A" and a Windows account with "Company B".

We are looking at using WHMCS, and so are just testing using the free 15 day trial they offer.

The integration with the Linux account with Comapny A worked perfectly, with new accounts being set up on the server automatically when a user signs up through WHMCS.

However, it will not work with Company B's Windows account.

The Linux account is running WHM / cPanel and the Windows account is running Plesk.

    Anyone any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Brad.

Have you got both servers setup in whmcs? have you got the right server typs setup in whmcs?

Have you told your windows packages to use the plesk server when creating accounts?

I believe - WHMCS doesnt work with Windows Plesk - due to a few facts - permissions, etc etc..

Personally Id keep it on the Linux Box and just point the customrs from B to A.. ??

    Hi,

Yeah ts a 'Permission Denied' error we're getting...

I'd much rather use the Linux co only, but our web sites are mainly done in ASP. Unfortunately...

    Thanks,

Yeah, it's set up to use PleskReseller.

I was (attempting) to talk to the tech support of the Windows host, they were blaming it on Plesk not working with it because we don't have a VPS account with them (which is their usual excuse!)

    Hi there,

I think for Plesk Windows - you need to have root access.. There are some firewall restrictions on the shared server - I used to have Plesk Windows and it never worked with WHMAP

    Damn.

Is there any billing/support system that does or is it just that Plesk rejects all?

If so, do you know of any other windows control panels that does work with it?

    Thanks,

    Thanks for your help guys.

We've got a few options to look at now. If only not having a windows host was one of them! :-).

I'll let you know how we get on.

    Cheers,

I think they all generally require root access.. For the account creation..

A Windows VPS Could do the trick EUKHOST do them pretty cheap I think.

I think awbs billing script supports Plesk Reseller.
Awbs works quite well with Helm Admin level & reseller level.

May be you would like to shoot a mail to whmcs.
They are usually pretty good with support.
