OK for the ppl who wanna investigate heres the links:

    http://www.slabhost.com [original]

    http://www.shaghost.com [ripper]

    1. Your meta keywords are the exact like 5 paragraphs long.
    2. You used the same flash sound as slabhost.com.
    3. You've used the same scheme on many of your pages( tables, popups, etc.)
    4. You have a lot of the same javascripts and such.

I've considered many possiblities for this as maybe its by the same owner but it don't seem to be so. Your just so very similar.

Both sites are totally different and if you open source code of other 10 hosting companies and you will see most of us have same keywords and similar description due to the fact that both and all other companies are in hosting business.

I think both sites are totally different ad borrowing keywords in meta tags is not illegal.

    Just my opinion

It just looks sus when these newbies come flying in and make grand testimonials and accusations about hosts. Seen too much crap here to believe that this was his first ever post here at WHT. Just my opinion of course.

Nowadays, META TAGS do not account for much in achieving top-positioned placement in search engines. Alot more is considered other than what one has selected for their keywords. In addition, neither of these two hosts have that good of a search engine position.

As for the meta tags, They hardly mean nothing these days on search engines. (I've had my work copied amanytimes) So it really doesn't matter in that aspect in regard to someone trying to steal or take your 'meta tags' .

Sure you might be a bit pissed off but search engines rely on alot of other factors in determining on how to rank a website within search engines than just meta tags.

Now I think they may be owned by the same person as both owners posts seem rather similar.

    Talking

I think its pretty pathetic that you have so much time on your hands that you go around looking at source to see if one site used the same source as the other. lol

I beg to differ. If I remember correctly a company sued another company or individual and won some cash.

You can tell someone ripped someone...

Meta tags aside, alot of the wording is exactly the same in the tables...

    Hello,

I guess that would be great if both of the owners could post their words here in this thread and would end up this issue.

I dunno what's the matter.... They are the owners and should discus this matter, however you guys are doing it instead ?

To ultratorture, alias FAT BASTARD, you need to find a way to let the tension out.

To the fine folks at WHT, I used to own SlabHost, and sold the biz about a month ago to a very reputable host, smooth transition, just a change of ownership.

It's still kind of funny. Start a host, sell a host, use the same information. You should franchise :-)
