Sitemap won't affect Your ranking, pagerank or site position in google ... It just helps google with indexing your subpages (your site: will grow)

I understand ranking/site position as main domain place in google , and sitemap doesn't increse this
It will just help google robot to index subpages, because robot will "know" where to go

Is a sitemap directly related to results that list the main company website, description and then lots of a sub links under the description?

I agree, a Site map helps insure GoogleBOT finds its way through your site without giving up and going elsewhere.
The better it indexes your site the better it "should" reflect on your Page Rank but as a combination with MANY other factors

Mekhu, no, those are called Site Links and are determined by Google based on how much of an authority they think your website is for that keyword / phrase.. This is most commonly seen for company names since they most likely are the most authoritative site on their name..
But you can also see it for other more generic terms, but it's harder, much harder..
The sitemaps, as said earlier, are really there just to help Google find all of your pages.. But, if your internal navigation is clean and effective, they aren't really all that useful..

Sitemap is a method to get crawled your complete websites by SE's. If you have a good quality website, it will surely affect your rankings.

Not true. Your website can be effectively crawled without a site map at all.

If? If? If? Well I am not talking about If's. I am assuming you know how to link out to all your pages in a optimized format.

Some contents doesn't needs text links, Eg: A Java Script help or Tutorials...but those contents needs to be fed for SEs. So sitemap is the best way.

If the javascript produces legible html results it will be indexed just like any other html, and if your site navigation points to those html results there is no problem with bots finding the content.
It does not hurt to submit a sitemap however and it may even speed up indexing of some pages, but it is not required if, as Jaan said, you understand how to link to your content so that both visitors and search engines can find it all easily.
Actually the creation of navigation schemes which are helpful to both humans and bots should be taught in SEO 101.
