    Editing DNS Settings in Cpanel

    Dear All,

I have a dedicated server and have 5 IP addresses in all.
3 IP addresses i am using already.

I want to give 2 IP address to a site, i have created DNS for that site:

    ns1.domainname.com
    ns2.domainname.com

for both NS i have given 2 spare IPs.

Now i want to edit the DNS of that domain name, which section i edit of the DNS in WHM and in which field what i write?

Prompt Help will be very handy.

    Regards.

    Hi,

Just go to WHM > DNS Functions > Edit DNS Zone > Change the NS record type to your new Nameservers..

What modification do you wish to have? Add ns1 and ns2 as subdomains using dns editor?

You must assign a dedicated IP to the site using WHM:
Account Functions>>>Change a sites IP address. After that the DNS zone entry should automatically change to the new IP, but check anyway.
