Q9300, in this case, bigger number = better CPU.

Of course, why are you even buying Quad in the first place?

I believe the Q9300 has a 1333FSB, and is 2.5Ghz, and runs on 45nm.. compared to 1066FSB & 2.4Ghz & 65nm with the Q6600

the 9300 is better in this case. The price difference is quite different though I believe though to.

Have you though about the 6700? This one has a good price point and batter performance than the 6600.

The Q9300 is about $50 more than the Q6600, for the moment! The Q6700 is much more expensive than either of these other two
