chances are if you have co-location or rackspace with x company, your going to have to stick to their terms anyway so you mayaswell borrow their guidelines. however thats no excuse to just copy and paste, id expect some things if not all to be slighty different.

    Hi guys,

That TOS was written by myself with brief consultation with my lawyer. I'm sure he'll be amused by this in the morning Thanks for letting me know.

    Hello Everyone,

Thank you for pointing it out. I shall address the issues here

We have a server with Jag , I can give you the IP address on request if you wish. The network is obviously JagPC network. I did took their permission before we did it.

Secondly regarding SLA, I shall contact Johny about it, he's the one taken up the page. I shall get things clarified.

We'd like to apologise if things went wrong anywhere.

    Thank you everyone.

    Regards,
    James Peter

    Eh?

They do in fact have a server with JaguarPC and did get permission to reuse the network page information (as they are obviously on the JaguarPC network). I can't say anything about the SLA however.

Yeah it's thorough, just as any legal document should be.

I guess you could say the ToS is a pre-emptive pass-the-buck? That's one way to look at it.

I'd have to agree, especially since it's not part of the "content" of someone's website. If you decide to pay a solicitor 1000-1500 to have one done they're going to use a template with a few additions as per your requests. From a legal perspective though you'd have to adhere to any copyright, and for your own protection it's always worth having a solicitor give it a quick read.
