Vectoral and its servers

This is my second go around with a dedicated server provider. My first was with jmhservices (reseller for somebody-would love to know who). At JMH I had decent speeds via different protocols (ftp) etc. I had been told that vectoral was one of the best, so I gave them a shot. I know their machines are on 100 mb shared connection, but the speeds are ridiculously slow. My only conclusion is that they have thir connections way overloaded. My advice to anyone considering vectoral is this: LOOK ELSEWHERE!

What sort of speeds are you getting?

And unmetered shared connections are generally subject to severe performance degredation, in my opinion at least. I'm hoping that Pooled will be at least somewhat different.

well I am in Ohio USA. I had jmhservices (which is a reseller of vectoral) Vectoral verified this to me. I would hit 5 mb on 3 different connections to same server via ftp and have other stuff running at same time. I have submitted ticket to vectoral and they are trying to figure out why its that much different. Anyways I will update again asap.

don't forget that vectoral servers are in europe so the connection will not be verry great to you , you may whant to think to a location near to you , not in europe, for better speed.

Well jmh has told me they are not a reseller. Anyways doesn't matter still not real happy with vectoral box so will be ending contract after only one month.

Ok Jmh is a reseller for netdirekt then maybe because i found someone with a jmh box and did a tracert and it came back to netdirekt ip. Vectoral and Netdirekt are in the same building (they use different equipment) and have separate machines. I do believe that they share same pipeline. I still get poor speeds and will definitely NEVER use vectoral again. You would think I would get same speeds from vectoral box that I did from the one from jmh since they are in the same data center.

Vectoral and Netdirekt are two different locations. Vectoral have their servers located in a UK DC while Netdirekt have their servers located in a Germany DC.

Um no just look at vectorals website. Servers are in Frankfurt Germany as is Netdirekt. Vectoral's offics are in the UK not their servers.
