inneed of merchant account with authorize.net gateway

Could anyone refer me any merchant account that allows authorize.net gateway?

I'm thinking to use CDGCommerce with Authorize.net but wanted to compare with other companies.

    Hi Doomos,

Most U.S. merchant account providers will have an Authorize.Net gateway option. The pricing will vary between one provider and another but for most merchant accounts, the net "at the end of the day" price difference between one provider and another is usually pretty minimal.

As such, you'll want to ask about things like terms & conditions - i.e. is there a minimum contract length with any kind of an early termination fee? Are there monthly minimums? Is there in-house technical support provided?

Other key questions to ask about are how chargebacks & risk issues are handled. In addition, does the merchant provider you are interviewing provide any kind of value-added fraud defense tools such as Verified by Visa/MasterCard SecureCode or any other systems? If so, is it included free or is there any extra cost?

The good news here is that you have many options to choose from but it never hurts to really grill any potential processor as they should be able to readily demonstrate what extra value they bring to the table beyond just the "plain vanilla" merchant account and Authorize.Net gateway.

We use CDGCommerce and got our authorize.net account through them. They are very good, and I recommend CDG 100%.

We will soon be switching to their quantum gateway option to try and save a bit of $$.

Edit: I think it's worth mentioning that I know we can find cheaper pricing somewhere else. However, I believe that CDGCommerce provides the best *value* for our money. Sometimes it is not worth saving a few pennies when it comes to very important things like credit card processing. CDG gets our business because they are consistantly the best value, even though they are not the "cheapest".

Good common sense and approach, nice to see for a change rather than skimping on a few $$$, people tend not to see the long term view.
