I love classical music... although, the best thing in the world is to have someone come over to the house for the first time with classical music playing in the background... on the next song have hard rock or rap play... lol... see the look on people's face. Yes, there is something wrong with me.

I can see it now. A couple of glasses of brandy, fireplace, lights moody, classical music in the background, deep discussion, then Aerosmith and Run DMC come on nice and LOOOOOOOUD!!

Not much, though my mom is a classical and carnatic music artist. I like to hear music not much more than it.

Some of it I like a lot. Some seems pretty dull. I think that classical composers faced the same problem as modern composers. Having thought up a pretty good tune, they have to come up with enough extra stuff to fill an album.

bach, consistently delivers. unbelievable. i used to hear everyone saying bach bach bach bach like that bach like this, i didnt understand then. i just listened to brandenburg concertos, and they sounded like very good baroque pieces, which they are. just that. it appears that they belonged to early period of bach's career. when i found out his later, many works, i got amazed. unbelievable number and variety of pieces.
