What form of communication (as a web host) do you think is the best and most useful form of communication (i.e. forums, trouble tickets, emails) for general inquiries?? I personally think for general inquiries a forum is the best place to have them answered. In a lot of cases, other forum community memebers can answer these general inquiries.
My answer would be email.
I agree with akashd
We have not had good luck at all with forums.
I think we have had about 3 forums since 1999.
I think they can be an asset IF they are used, and people participate.
Our client base just dont seem to be avid forum posters either.
Hehe...I have noticed a good way to get people to post is to hold some kind of content. My host held one in which the first 5 people to reach 150 posts by x date would get a free reseller account. But then you see, even after the 5 winners post their 150 posts (and other competitors), then they'll all be addicted.
