Looking for a high bandwidth host

Hi. I'm looking for a host with the following requirements:

    - Can host up to 5 domains or more
    - Around 30GB storage or more
    - Bandwidth of 250GB or more

I'll be using it to host a wordpress blog with about 9K pageviews a day, and another forum that will probably bring in similar traffic, and host a lot of videos.

    I'm looking at:
Mediatemple (Hostjury had bad reviews but a lot of big sites use them)
    Hostgator (Got best on hostjury)

Please help me pick one. Thanks.

Based on your requirements and your previous threads, it might be time to move to a VPS or Dedicated

I'm leaving my current host because they don't have any package that fits my requirement and price range.

What about media temple's grid service?

but a lot of big sites use them
But, do they use their shared (gs) hosting, which is what you'd be buying?

Have they stated that they're happy with the service? You'd be surprised what people can put up with when it all happens over a long enough period of time, and hate the thought of what it means to change hosts (which isn't made any easier by having big sites ).

I know what it means to switch. I forgot to say that uptime is important to me too. I can't have any downtime whatsoever. I need 99.9999%

    Guess no more mt shared

I agree. It's better to search for VPS or dedicated server. Some hosts allow streaming on shared servers providing packages with great amount of space and bandwidth but then suspend user's accounts. And the reason is not the bandwidth over usage but server's overload.

The fact that a host offers insane amounts of bandwidth doesn't mean you'll be able to host a very active forum on one of their shared accounts.

A forum is CPU-intensive and the host can shut you off if you use too much server resources - regardless of bandwidth.

I don't think your bandwith needs are that high for shared hosting. Your domain and wordpress/forum requirements are also standard.

However, your 30GB storage is at the high end of shared hosting of a quality nature.

Do you need that much space? And if you do, you may be looking at semi-dedicated or a dedicated server.

There are plenty of hosts that offer inordinate amounts of space but it's still quite difficult to deliver due to the relatively high cost of implementing dependable mass storage.

    Good luck in your search.

As per your requirement you can have lot of hosts. Considerable is bandwidth speed and you should ask demo to host.

    Thank you,
