Try to hot-link the image (you can get the URL w/ FireFox's Live HTTP Headers), when you access the file, it expires right away. How is this done? Looks like the images are hosted on Amazon S3.

The only way to rip the image is still by doing print screen. But this type of file protection looks much more solid than using .htaccess
