    Looking for win98FE USB drivers...

    Prefferably ones that don't require any service packs...

    Yeah, long story why, I've just got an old win98 machine sitting around that my sister plays with, and I'd rather not have her hooked up to the 'net with it so sneakernet is prefferable. For some reason win98 can't handle USB drives even though they seem to be in its included drivers...

    I had a miniCD with some for all the windows OSs, but I have no clue where it's went...

    Do you know the exact filename and location on the CD that you need?

    I seem to recall some issues with the the USB on 98 FE but it has been so long I don't remember them.

    No idea where either of the CDs went, but I have "recovery" CDs, though I'd rather not use them at this point...

    Try this and this. Hopefully one of those will work for you. Otherwise, look in Device Manager and see the Vendor and Device ID for the USB drive you're plugging in, then add it in to the mass storage driver inf file, and see if it'll handle it then.
