    Enabling php by default in Apache

    When I create a website in apache I have to enable php on it manually, Is there a way that I enable php by default on root of apache ?

    Do you mean when you take domain.com in browser, index.php should be served even if index.html is present in the web root? If yes, add the following inside the .htaccess file of the account inside its web root.

    DirectoryIndex index.php

    There must be some kind of misconfig in your server configuration. Go through entire apach, php configuration files. If you need more help please post the details of the configurations so that we can look end find the issue.

    You need to enable PHP in httpd.conf
    If we do not plant knowledge when young, it will give us no shade when we are old.
