How well are .biz domains being indexed?


How good are the .biz domains being indexed by primary search engines these days?

Google has 346,000,000 .biz pages in its index so there is no problem getting them indexed but in my experience they do seem to take a longer time to be fully indexed.

The TLD does not matter when Google considers indexing speed or rate.

hmmmm....not so sure about that Jan - I seem to have better experience getting .com or .net domains indexed compared with .biz

Well that could have to do with how your marketing each website Mel. Or a dozen other factors we dont know about.

Google has said before it does not matter which TLD you use, but does make a difference when targeting specific countries. As it is better to use the TLD in for the country your targeting.

Yes its better to use specific country domain names but .com, .net, .org, .inof, .biz etc are generic ranking wise.

It could be but I don't market just a few sites so I feel that based on the number of sites and that all get the same SEO treatment it is at best an anomaly and for that reason I prefer .com or .net.
