Merchant Accounts for Indian Companies?
I have been wondering what merchant options are available for Indian companies. Transecute is not selling merchant accounts as of now, and CCAvenue cannot accept the Master Card.
World Pay has stringent compliance mechanisms. This leaves very few merchant account options for Indian companies.
Can anyone help me find a good, secure merchant account service? Or is it that 2CO and Paypal are the only available options?
Appreciate all responses to this.
It depends on your type of business, is it a startup business you have ?
You can consider so. It would be for a start-up.
Then I would go with 2Co and built up your business with them, once you have a good turnover you can switch to your own account.
Doing it this way will safe you time and money on the long term.
www.ebs.in from Axis Bank (formerly UTI Bank)
www.abcpayments.com from IndiaMart
Providing these names just for you to look at, I am not sure how good or bad they are.
Paypal is the best one out there.

You can enquire our local banks for options. ICICI provides such service, not sure. Ask the Guru Vinayak Sharma JI
local banks do offerr
but its a lot costilier should work out for large volume customers ...
ebiz.in - support very doubtful (may be wrong)
pricing not given online ...
and u call chennai office u dont get direct replies ....
cashwala.com -- not used their services but they use axis bank ...
cashwala.com is an ebs.in reseller or partner, whatever you call it, you can get a slightly better deal through them, but you should also study pros & cons of going directly or through a partner.
ebiz.in ? It seems you wanted to mention ebs.in as ebiz.in is just a parked domain.
Thanks. I would prefer World Pay or 2CO/Paypal for this.
Do you have a United States checking account?
axis bank gateway .....
got good response today ....
10000 rs. - set up
5 % tdr

Its good, they are lowering their charges.
Is WorldPay or 2CO better for a medium sized Singapore company?
What type of turnover do we speak ?
Worldpay is a good company to look at in any way.
fionix, I don't know what my turnover will be - as I am just getting into the online market.
Any advice for me?
