    Knownhost issues?

    It looks like I can not connected via web or FTP to any of my Knowhost accounts. I also can not reach knownhost.com, or any of their helpdesk or billing sites. They keep timing out..

    Yes, we lost connectivity in Texas. This was reported to Colo4dallas so now we are just awaiting a reply.

    Yeah, I hit colo4dallas.com's border router with a traceroute, everything beyond is black-hole-land.

    Knownhost

    I have almost 3 months whit knownhost, last week was a small downtime in my server, today downtime is taking a while. not even their website is working, to open a ticket.

    I have the same problem, after I asked for an upgrade.

    Things were really bad with me yesterday (my VPS spiked - server loads over 20 - for no apparent reason), and today I can't connect.

    Although KnownHost are a pretty awesome host, so I greatly doubt this downtime will take too long. Plus there'll be compensation via their SLA?

    Our SSL Certs are not working so orders can't be received by our clients that use them.... we are on the california datacenter... could this be related?

    Wow, glad you guys are on top of this. I've had a VPS with you guys for three months now and this is the first time I've started to panic over downtime. (I panic too easily, too, I guess. LOL!)

    Good to be able to come here and get word about what's happening. I was starting to wonder when the KnownHost site itself wouldn't come up in my browser.

    Interesting that you noted spikes yesterday too. i wonder if their host is being targeted for some reason?

    Everyone does Although the moment Texas went down, they were on it. Definitely nice to see such great support by KnownHost

    I hear ya. I was right in the middle of retooling one of my blogs when suddenly the browser would only timeout when I tried to refresh the page.

    Ah, well. Nothing to be done about it right now but wait.

    They had a problem with the router at DC, they got it fixed. Pretty fast too, loved the fact they host their forum somewhere else, so customers can keep track of them.

    Just wanted to say thanks for updating in here. It IS a little scary when not only your site but the host's goes down all at once. I was so pleased to log in here and immediately know you were aware and on top of it.
