SiteSouth Data Center Move Reminder

This is a reminder that SiteSouth will be moving from GNAX/AtlantaNap to our new datacenter on March 15th. The move will start at 12:01 AM EST on Saturday March 15th (That's Friday/Saturday night), we expect to be down until Saturday at noon with a possible additional 3 hours of downtime due to ip propagation across the internet. All power to equipment will be shut off at 12:01 AM EST on March 15th.

If you are picking up your own equipment to move you must be at the data center no later than 12:00 AM EST on Saturday March 15th, Once again, all power to equipment will be shut off at 12:01 AM EST.

That's not quite correct. SiteSouth and Xilogix are jointly building out a new data center in the same building. The new data center is on the north side of Atlanta at 75/285 near the Cumberland Galleria. We are sharing their current space until the new space is complete.

It's a move of about 36 cabinets. We haven't put any thing new in the GNAX/AtlantaNap space for about 7 months so we already have quite a few clients in the north side space and happy to say no issues.

There will be quite a few announcements in the next few weeks/months. We intend to take colocation in Atlanta to a new level. This will not be just your basic data center.

Yes it is. We are using that for now and then expanding it to an additional floor in the same building.

Are you guys leasing it from Globix or did you acquire the space?

Globix no longer owns the space. We are a current client of Xilogix, but we are joint venturing together on a new data center space in the same building.

There are some other things we are also doing on our own in the same building that we will announce in the next few weeks. It will be very exciting.
