    Which server is better?

Hey guys, i was wondering which server is better?

    Server1:

    • Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E4500 (2MB L2 Cache, 2.20GHz,800 FSB)
    • 3GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz - 4 DIMMs
    Server 2
    • AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ (1MB L2 cache (2 x 512KB), 2.6GHz)
    • 3GB DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz (PC2-5300)
borth servers have 2000 GB bandwidth and rest of the settings that I saw are also the same

It would be a close call, what are you planning to run on it?

Go for the Core 2 Duo. Less power consumption, more power.

Are we to assume the pricing is identical for each?
