Crissic Solutions LLC Main Node Down

I regret to inform that our main server has been offline for the last 5 hours or so. We have been under constant DDOS attacks for the past few days, which we had finally blocked out. For some reason, however, overnight the firewall decided to block out the loopback, meaning the server is un-reachable. We have contacted our DataCenter and believe we will be back up shortly.

Due to the downtime today we will be upgrading all of our accounts up to the next higher package free of charge, and include 1 months hosting free.

Again we are sorry for the downtime this has caused and will be back up online shortly. If you wish to contact us please call us at 1(877)-677-8889 or PM me via WHT. I am also availible via an alternative email of [email protected]

We will update this thread as soon as we are back up and online. All existing customers will recieve an email regarding the outage, and will recieve the 1 month free as soon as we are back online.

If you have the basic plan we would bump it up to the Standard plan. As you are on a dedicated it hadn't affected that specific server, so we cannot give dedicated clients any benifit as it didn't affect them

Sorry we'd bump you up but that is out of our control We do discounts on dedi servers if they go offline for some unknown reason, but that isn't the case

@CrissicSolutions I'm glad your services are up. However, have you thought about putting your business-mail separate from your signup-domain/site? This would make it possible for you to still help customers, even if your own server is down.

Who is your main datacenter, and how would you rate their actions?

Currently our main shared hosting server is located with BurstNET. The responce time was around the usual that I would expect and we got the issue resolved as fast as possible, even with their Networking Staff not being in.

I have considered this, and am considering purchasing hosting from another datacenter for our main site for support and such, this has yet to be done as we have not found one. Suggestions are always welcome.

I had considered removing our toll free line, but yesterday showed that the line was indeed vital. We recieved phone calls constantly regarding the downtime, as they could not open a support ticket. I have had second thoughts and plan on keeping our toll free line.

Again suggestions welcome regarding the hosting of Crissic's main site/support site, if anybody has suggestions don't hesitate to contact me.

I heard to stay away from BurstNET so I guess the rumors were true. By node did you mean your server cluster? Do you only use one data center?

As of now yes we use one datacenter -- as far as burst I have had few issues with them. I am considering other DataCenter's for our shared hosting and dedicated servers as a second alternative, but wish to continue reselling servers with BurstNET

It could be a wise idea to spread out your services to different locations.

It would be wise to avoid BurstNET period.

BurstNET's setup times seem to be slow and I just got invoiced for 2 months of services, so slow in that aspect. But that is to be expected considering their sale they have had, and not to mention their prices are low even when not on sale.

Such comments are pointless and tasteless, not to mention trolling...
If you have first-hand knowledge, by all means post it, but to make assumptions or pass "rumors" around, is uncalled for.

    You have 3 choices here;
    1. Notify the moderators of the posts and have them removed.
    2. Prove to the readers at WHT that you are not what the poster wrote.
    3. A combination of both.
I am sure that you'll know how to handle this PR-work
