    Spammers on a Softlayer server

    According to spamcop:

    Tracking link: http://put wish.com/
    [report history]
ISP does not wish to receive report regarding http://put wish.com/
    Resolves to 75.126.129.240
    Routing details for 75.126.129.240
[refresh/show] Cached whois for 75.126.129.240 : [email protected]
Using abuse net on [email protected]
abuse net softlayer.com = [email protected], [email protected]
Using best contacts [email protected] [email protected]
ISP does not wish to receive reports regarding http://put wish.com/ - no date available
(I added a space in the spamvertised site so that they wouldn't get any improvement in search engine rankings).

    What's up with that?

There may be a hidden one using their service. The title seems to be weird to say.

I appreciate the admins don't want to tick off an advertiser but the original title was much harsher on a vendor who supports spamvertised web sites. If they didn't support it they would not reject spamcop reports.

I don't believe this is true considering softlayer has forwarded us complaints about customer sites being spamvertised in the past.

Then explain why I'm being spammed by a site that is hosted on Softlayer.

Before posting information that could be detrimental to Softlayer's reputation on a public forum, you should contact them and see if there is an easy resolution.

You're probably not the only one who noticed this, and as such, Softlayer may already be on the case.

Its impossible for Softlayer to know about spamming unless reported. Try not to knock a companys rep without at least talking to them to resolve the issue first.

But all the same I'm sure it will be dealt with once you have reported it.I really don't see the point in this thread as it is.
