    how can i optimize the httpd?

    Hi,

    i have two servers behind certain switch,

    the two servers are with low load,

    but the one is good response,and another one is slow,

    i try to restart the httpd,the problem is here still,

    are there any method that i can optimize the httpd and check out why it is ?


    ps. they all run with whm/cpanel

    There could be quite a few reasons something like this would happen. I'd start at with your network card and switch, make sure the network/duplex settings are solid.

    This is one of those situations where you'll need to do so troubleshooting before you actually implement a fix. Try to provide more details too.

    Have you checked your switch to see if you are getting any errors on it? Make sure the patch cable has secure crimps on it? if you run network tests on the one server that is responsive slow to see what speeds you get when downloading too or from that server what type of results do you get? Same? Is the line saturated?

    Why don't you try to the load the page from the local machine, no network. If you are using linux, then lynx will be a good option. this is to test if the problem is actually relate to network or not.
