    Filtering out private whois info

Many domain registrars provide anonymity services where they hide the true owner of a domain name.

Is there a way to tell which whois info contains such bogus info, and which ones give the real whois info?

Usually there is some mention of "Privacy" in the whois record. That would probably exclude most of them. It'd be trial and error after that.
