If you woke up & found $1000 & had to spend it before lunch...

    ..What would you buy?

I would buy lots of Mac&Cheese ('3 cheese sauce' kind)

I'd get my passport and go to the airport with no luggage (no time to pack). I'd walk to the counter and ask for the first thing out overseas for under $800 (need to save the other $200 for hotel). I'd flip out my cash and wait for security to come get me.

    A mid-range keyboard/synth would be nice.

I'd call up the mortgage company and pay down $1000 of the principle.

Which would save a heck alot in interest over 30 years. I forgot the numbers, but it's worth it.

Paying something like $100 in addition to minimum every month on a mortgage would save over time thousands upon thousands of dollars in interest.
