    Suitable VPS Provider Wanted

    Hello,

Im looking into getting a small VPS that runs cPanel, i would prefer it to the below specs, or nearest -

    5-20GB Diskspace
    50-200GB Bandwidth
    265 - 512MB RAM
    Equal Share of CPU
    cPanel/WHM
    Full Root Access
    Budget - $10 - $40

If anyone knows where i can find one i'd be very thankful !
A reputable host would be nice.
i also don't want to be in a contract, i'd rather it be month-to-month, =]

    Thanks in advance,

    Danny.

dannycg, according to the rules on WHT no one web hosting company allowed offer themselves etc. I think that the best way for you to get some decent providers in your research list is browsing VPS offers section here.
    Good luck

If you go to the webhosting offers forum, Futurehosting has offers falling in that range. You can get their gold package, which is 384MB of RAM, but with their current special, you can an extra 128MB of RAM, making it 512MB SLM Ram.

Not sure about the CPU share.

20 GB drive space and it is $39.99, they have a package for $5 less that has 15 GB and maybe 384MB of RAM.

I have read mixed things about futurehosting. Some of have complained about them, and others raved about how good they are.

    Hello,

I was curious if you narrowed down your search for your next VPS provider? If so could you list the candidates?

http://www.uni-hosts.com/ + http://easyvps.co.uk/ + http://www.virpus.net ( Virpus was original choice, but they seem to be having PayPal troubles and i needed the server ASAP =] )

    Thanks

Just curious, does anyone have/know any "Getting Started Guides" for unmanaged VPS's?
I decided to go Unmanaged since i'd rather do all the upgrades on my own, cheaper & gives me more knowledge then relying on someone else.

It would help alot if anyone knew of any.

    Thanks.

No particular reason other than they were willing to do a custom plan to fit my needs
