    Warning for Multicards

Dont even get close to this company www.multicards.com

It is a scam so stay away, they will do like all other criminal processors do.

Let you process for a while and when you start asking for your money, they suddenly have hundred of reasons why the are not paying out your funds.

If you want to be robbed, give it to the guys in the street

I will be posting all their answers on this thread so you can get your own opinion

    34 days ago (2008-01-23)Dear Sir,

We have asked you about this and why have you not stoped or informed us by mail about
that we was not able to ad more of our websites, your staff also helped to set up the
site without saying a word about anything.

To let the account run is not very serious behaviour, why did you not stop it from
trading as other banks or companies would do if you felt that something was wrong.
You have only let it trade so you could keep the money and make a fraud.

    This cant be legal anywhere

I would like a direct line to someone who is responsible.MultiCards wrote:

    34 days ago (2008-01-24)Dear Merchant,

Our Technical department only reviews the order pages and have absolutely nothing do
    to with approving the websites.

You should have contacted the Account Department (us) and asked us if it was allowed
    to process for pharmacy websites.
Furthermore, we have made it clear upon approval that the approval was only intended
for the website you applied for, www.eukorkort.com.
Secondly, our prohibited items list, located at
    http://www.multicards.com/en/support...rohibited.html also clearly mentions
that the sale of Prescription drugs is not allowed.

Effective immediately, the account has been suspended due to fraudulent activity.
This means the account will not be re-opened and payment will only take place once
the 180 day liability period for MultiCards has expired as this is the legal period
MultiCards can be affected by credits and chargebacks that come through your account.

Can you please let me know to which email address you sent all the documentation?
Please also upload all the documents through the 'Maintain Documents' feature of the
    Merchant Menu.

Unfortunately, we do not have any presence in the U.S.
Our Netherlands office information can be found on our website.

    34 days ago (2008-01-24)Dear Michel,

I have tried to call you again but it was only a answering machine at all of your
extensions. On the 26 of December i sent additional paperwork about our bank
inforation as requested after conversation with Account Department, see ticket
    R5Y3E8.

During the period as client at multicards no one has asked for any additional
information for the company then the documentation provided when opening of the
account, as you are aware of the account would not be opened without proper
    documentation.

What is a disturbing fact, is that you knew from the beginning that the other
website was a pharmacy but did not take action before we started to as about our
fušnds, which means that you probably would let the account run forever if we was
not asking fo missing funds. Thats a shame that you are doing scams like this when
your company is working fine in all other ways.

Can you please tell me why we have to wait 6 months for our funds to be paid,
regrading chargebacks and gurantees it would be more the enough with 3 months01-23)Dear Merchant,

Your account has been suspended effective immediately as you have been processing
    sales for the website www.euapoteket.com.

In the original approval for processing (Re: [O0X0S5] Pre-application
    info@eukorkort.com) it clearly stated:
'Please note that this approval is only valid for the website(s) you applied for'.

The original application was done for www.eukorkort.com, which means you were only
allowed to process charges for this website.

Processing charges for a pharmaceutical website without prior approval is considered
to be in breach with our general terms & conditions.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Kind regards,

    Michel Hendriks
    Account Department

    n reply to your accussation:
The approval was given based on your application for www.eukorkort.com.
We have in no way been informed that processing for a pharmacy website was ever
involved. The approval itself clearly states the approval is only intended for
www.eukorkort.com. It is the merchant's responsibility to check whether other
    websites can also be approved.

As mentioned before, our Technical Department only checks if a new page ID is
technically working, they are in no way involved with website reviews.

Merchant's sales and processing history are checked as soon as payments are due or
when merchant requests payment and that's when we found out that you were using the
MultiCards gateway to process pharmaceutical charges for the sale of prescription
drugs, which is in breach with our terms & conditions.

A scam is considered to be a processing company that processes the transactions,
takes the money and runs and can never be found again. So far, we have clearly
explained what would happen and replied to you in every case within a reasonable
    timeframe of 48 hours.

The 180 day timeframe is the legal timeframe in which customers are able to dispute
charges directly through their credit card company, hence we also need to take this
    timeframe into consideration.

The sales processed through page ID 2 for the website www.eukorkort.com can be
settled earlier on request. The total balance for these sales equals 1843.99 USD.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Kind regards,

    Michel Hendriks
    Account Department

    Ok, i see

That means that when i asked for payment on the 23 of December you saw the processing
history but let the account run further.

As my main language is not english i resume that with a utility bill you mean for
example bill for apartment, house ,office, gas, electricity, garbage etc etc

    Is this correct?

    Dear Merchant,

No, the first time we noticed you were processing for pharmacy related sales was
when the Account Department received ticket number with Ticket ID: F9N1P7 and were
alerted by a pharmacy prospect that Multicards was processing sales for a pharmacy
    website.

An utility bill is either a gas, water, electricity or telephone bill.

    Kind regards,

    7 Days for a replay?????

We are still waiting for our wire transfer for the site www.eukorkort.com which was
APPROVED, please pay ou the funds which are now two months late.

Do we really have to cantact a law firm sue you beacuase of your baehaviour, pay out
the money for the site which was approved by you and we have to wait 180 days for the
    other funds.

If we dont have the approved funds in our account in a week from today we will have
to make law suit against you and contact ditch police for fraud.

    Dear Merchant,

I expect the balance to be gradually released to you.
I will contact the risk department for payment information for next week.

    Kind regards

    Payment Department

    Dear Sir,

Still no payment to our account, is it really necessary for us to contact a law firmin netherlands to have our funds released. It will just cost you a lot of extra moneyand problems.

We don understand you acting this way, you approve something and you pay out as all normal processors, why it always have to be some kind of scam involved

    Dear Sir,

We may face fines above $25,000 because someone reported to the card schemes that
MultiCards is processing prescription drug sales. This was related to your websites.
You have no license to sell prescription drugs, we have never seen it and even so,
we would not have allowed you to process, unless it was a direct merchant account.
At this moment persons in Sweden have been arrested for the same. We never gave you
authorization to sell Viagra or Prozac through our systems We are only allowed to
open direct merchant accounts for licensed pharmacies.

Since you have been using our aggregated shop platform we may be accused of
facilitating and we already had severe problems because of that back in 2004.
The balance on your account does not cover possible fines, therefore we will hold
on to these funds until the dust has settled.

In the end, even though you have misrepresented the facts, we will pay the balance
to you, however right now, we want to be absoletely sure we are not ending up with
the fine, while having paid the account balance to you.
If you want to go to court right now, that's entirely your decision.
I hope you are aware, looking at the facts, that chances for you are slim.

    Kind Regards,

    Jeroen H. , Risk Department
    MultiCards Internet Billing

Hahaha, i was just waiting for that to come up. You are so obvious, we dont have a dust and neither do you, especially not for the website approved.

Your fines is just a fantasy of yours. None has reported you for card schemes and if they have we want to see that report. We are not based in Sweden so dont try to threaten us with your lies.

Unfortunately i cant see that this issue will be solved without legal help.

    You will hear from us

  5. #5
    Dear Sir,

After contact with our bank today we have been informed that not one of your
payments have been recieved to our account. Please explain why you have not payed out our money and why you have not informed us.

    Dear Merchant,

No payment has been initiated so far as we still have not received the required
    documents as listed on http://www.multicards.com/en/support...il_profile.htm.

All instructions to get started have been mentioned in the Partner Confirmation you
received earlier, which includes those requirements. It is the merchant's
    responsibility to complete everything.

Once we have received the required documentation, we will initiate the first
    settlements to your account.

    Kind regards,

    Michel Hendriks

What Multicards is saying to us all is following,

They may kinda look another way while approving you, wait till you process for about a month getting most of your shipments on the way to your customers, and then they will suddenly "wake up" and say "Ouch, look, we just learned you sell this and that, which you did not tell us before. So your account is now terminated, go screw yourself somewhere else."

That what has happened and will happen eventually with every of such pharmacies. They know very well you will not go and complaint anywhere, so why make 5-10% of you when they can make 100%?"

From Multicards to all you out there, YOU HAVE BEEN ROBBED, SMILE

    I liked this

    to with approving the websites.

You should have contacted the Account Department (us) and asked us if it was allowed
    to process for pharmacy websites.
I can't imagine that a technical department activates sites on processing.
If the site got a live mode to process transactions, it means that it was approved by a compliance department.

Now I have two opinions: either Multicards does something shady with the merchant or the merchant really processed prescription drugs from another site using Merchant Id from the registered site.

@Zhivago: Not sure what you are trying to proof here as you have also opened another thread about our company. As mentioned before, let's keep this professional and not on a public forum.

A touol: As is mentioned in Zhivago's posts, the approval was given for the website www.eukorkort.com.

Later on, they somehow changed this to a pharmacy website.
    All communication is listed below.

If they had applied in the first place with the pharmacy website, they would have been denied, it's as simple as that.
We will hold on to the money for 180 days, as this is the legal timeframe for chargebacks.

Not sure what the exact problem is here, no scam going on.
We have replied all emails professionally and have no intention to take the money and run & hide. We are out in the open, with all contact information listed on our website and have been in business since 1995, being one of the first processing companies worldwide. If Zhivago's accussation's were true, we would have been out of business long time ago.

"Our Technical department only reviews the order pages and have absolutely nothing do to with approving the websites."

This I have a very hadr time believing that it should be so. It must be very poor information as that is not the way to approve any website. I know for a fact that Multicards knows this very well.

Other than that I really dont see any wrong doing by Multicards.

I would also hold all the money from all activities to cover myself. I wouldnt release any partial payment nor any amount from the "approved" website.

I also agree in the fact that Multicards has obviously responded but I think a lot of things have got lost due to english not being first language for Zhivago.

"People arrested in Sweden....". That is very true. That happened very recently.

"25,000USD fine"....That is also very true although merchants thinks it is a scam whenever a processor actually gets or risks to be fined.

Apart from the "we only look at the payment page" part I really dont see any wrong doing here.

Then again; I might not have the full story.

    Card Expert,

I agree that we should have seen it earlier, but fact of the matter is that we didn't see it earlier, unfortunately. Once we found out, we have acted on it immediately.
The review from our Technical Department is just a basic review to see if the order page is working correctly, there is no review of products or websites, just the actual order page. (i.e. are all amounts calculated correctly posted and accumulated?)

Question remains, why did the merchant apply with a website called www.eukorkort.com, while he was looking for a processing solution for a pharmacy website www.euapoteket.com, which generates lots more volume and from which he knows it is very difficult to find a solution for? He just assumed it wouldn't be a problem?

We will never find out the real reason of this behaviour.
We might have made some mistakes here, but so did the merchant and we have no intention to scam or screw anybody. Our point of view still stands.

Failing to notice that can cost you a big fine so I really dont think you did this on purpose. It would only come back to hunt yourself and no one else.

Euapoteket are also breaching Swedish laws.

I see no wrong doing in this case from Multicards side.

I always take what i heard about online pharmacy busts with a pinch of salt, the last big one was in america, everyone walked and then sued the police department for 6mio USD and won..

Guess what, we recieved an answer from the Dutch law firm who are gone sue multicards and you know what the answer was from them.

Multicards are wellknown in Holland among law firms and we have had plenty of similar cases with good progress.

So Multicards, hold your hats because we are gone ad a scam fee of 40 % , interest and legal fees.

That will be the double then what you was supposed to pay out. :-) Not to mention you discussing your clients in public

If anyone else have a case against Multicards, let me know and i can give you the contact details of the law firm who has been suing them before.

I think multicards was fair to say let's discuss in private but you keep using your scare tactics here on the forums. I have no affiliation with Multicards but if you have a lawyer as you say, I personally would do it more discretely. I am sure high risk processors are aware of their legal obligations and consequences of legal suits.

    Good Luck with your case.

Zjivago rather than "trying" to sue multicards, why dont you instruct your legal council to assit theirs, and prevent them/you getting fined.

It seems to me you knew exatly what you were doing when you set your account up and yet you now feel you should be given the ability to take the cash and run.

How about as an alternative you give Multicards some kind of bond to cover the costs of any fine and then if you are proven right as you seem to think you get a nice refund and the money in your account.
It could be held in account by your own solicitor so you wouldnt have to trust them.

Online pharmacy lol, couldnt you think of an honest way to make money on the net?

[FONT='Calibri','sans-serif']Believe me we tried to talk to them nicely but this people does not understand that kind of talk, we had the same problem with another processor a few years back. Their way of working was identical to Multicards and our law firm asys that we should not wait for this to go on. From this company we recieved every penny of the holdback and a 30% scam fine which ended up in at least 200,000 USD

Zjivago, you wanted to fool Multicards and they proved it. You breached their terms and conditions. If you want to waste $$$ for lawyers, it is up to you.
Moreover, if they got a notice from VISA about prescription drugs selling, be ready to pay the VISA fine.

Zjivago; I can only second the above comments.

I think that you feel ripped off although you did wrong and now you make a big fuzz over what happened and that you didnt get paid.

No law firm with the right mind would take on your case as it is bound to be lost.

This with everything being as described in this case and that the facts have been properly presented.

Zhivago, please note that you can still login to the account, although the processing itself has been disabled.

I have sent a new password to your account email address.
Just use the new password and you will be prompted to again fill out the new password you received by mail and to make up another password yourself, which is strong enough. (Combination of letters, digits and characters, minimum of 8.)

Just follow the instructions on your screen to create a new password.

(Edit: I just noticed you have logged into your account 1 day ago, so I guess it worked.)
