Hosting Advice Needed
Hey guys
I'm starting a Cover Site (Music, Movies, Games etc...) and I wanted to get some advice on which host will be best for this type of site.
Any advice please

I think you have the need of a dedicated server for creating a cover site as your wish.If you make a quick search you can find a reliable host.

I think not. A VPS at the most, but a shared account should suffice.

Yea dedicated would be a little overboard, heck I think a VPS could even be a little overboard. Being that you are just starting out, I think you will be fine with a shared hosting site. Just be sure to have a good amount of bandwidth with your account. Lastly, I would recommend that your turn on the hotlink protection. That way people won't use up your bandwidth, instead make them download it instead.

If he is looking to host some copyrighted material then I think he will be looking for some offshore hosting.

If the content are not copyrighted, could you specify the disk space and bandwidth you need? This will help others giving you suggestions.
If they are copyrighted, you need go with offshore hosting. You can check the offer forum to find some.
