They're probably hoping that you'll go to those packages, and then realise that you need more RAM (or a CPanel etc) and so upgrade to a more realistically priced package.

Although I'd still be doubtful of a VPS host offering decent amounts of diskspace and data transfer for under $10.

Probably you only sell/buy VPS for cPanel, but ther is life beyond the hosting

I usualy run replicate NameServer on that kind of machine.

For $10 you can get 128MB of RAM, Perhaps 5-15GB of space and 75-150GB of transfer from various providers.

I have no doubt of that, but I think thats important that a list of providers which sell VPS Solutions under 5€ / $5 is present under WHT because I verify that many people are looking for it.

Regular plan under $5 won't do good for the provider, may be promos etc if done the right way. Like those rates applies if paid half yearly or yearly.

That's precisely why we do quarterly billing on our $4.95/mo plan. All others can be done monthly. (Well, most users pay with credit card, and the per transaction fees eat things up quickly)
