    Arrow Repartitioning hard drive

I have one hard drive, 80 Gb space.

    Code:
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
    /dev/hda5 7.8G 435M 7.0G 6% /
    /dev/hda1 122M 15M 101M 13% /boot
    tmpfs 502M 0 502M 0% /dev/shm
    /dev/hda8 45G 6.2G 36G 15% /home
    /dev/hda6 996M 38M 907M 4% /tmp
    /dev/hda3 7.8G 3.3G 4.1G 45% /usr
    /dev/hda2 9.7G 7.9G 1.3G 86% /var
    Disk /dev/hda2 (/var) DMA+ 86 %

    My /dev/hda2 (/var) is 86% full, but I have free space (36G) in /dev/hda8 (/home).
How to (step by step) transfer 10 Gb free space with /home at /var ?

I ThePlanet customer and use CPanel based server.

    Please, help me.

ext2resize is your bast bet but zip and offload any data first, add a second disk and rsync if you need to
