    Music Business & Dedicated Servers

I would like to hear from music business owners. I am a music business owner, and I'm now working with a datacenter. Please respond and let me know if you use a dedicated server in your music business and how you are using it. Thanks!

Do you mean for online media related to music, or something else?

Just curious how music business owners are using dedicated servers. Could be - database, streaming audio/video, VoIP, file transfers, etc...

Pretty much for digital services. Mostly distributing digital content to radio stations and for online shopping.

I see. A project I'm involved in is file upload/download, sound file samples, various member databases, file transfers, etc. No VoIP or streaming, but pretty much everything else you could offer. Basically the usual; database, email, web server, scripts/programs, forums, chat, various forms, member areas/logins, file transferring.
