Exclamation

Everyone please help me asap... I have 36 hours!

Hi guys,

I got this email yesterday from my shared host account at Lunarpages. Please help me, I don't know what to do. I have 10 websites hosted, as they allow 10 add on domains. I only have one proxy script running. I have a weblog, a forum, and other services, but they arnt getting like INTENSE traffic. Except yesterday ----------------------Hi,
Recently your account was utilizing excessive memory resources. And we are unable to move your account to stabilization server because your account size is 13GB+. It is causing a significant degradation of services on the server. This is a shared environment and we can not allow one user to utilize the majority of the resources on a server as it affects all users adversely.
A detail of the problem is shown below as:
CPU: 8.68 %
Memory: 9.61 %
Mysql: 1.2 %
livei9 "site" "IPADDRESS"
Top Process %CPU 17.0 /usr/bin/php
Top Process %CPU 16.0 /usr/bin/php
Top Process %CPU 8.0 /usr/bin/php
Please check your scripts are optimized and up to date. Additionally, Please upgrade your all addon scripts. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask us, we will be happy to answer them. If you require a higher usage then allowed on shared servers you might want to try a dedicated plan.
-------------------------

Thank you very much in advance,
EnvyV07

That proxy script of yours might be causing some problems, or some other unoptimized script.

You should be able to find a host to transfer to within a short notice, but make sure the Terms of Service of those hosts do allow proxy-hosting, a lot of them will not allow this.

If the host was up to your satisfaction (besides this incident) you could also look if you can find a proxy host for just that part.

Thank you guys, so are you saying I should remove my proxy script? If so, I should try?

Any proxy script will monopolize the server, no shared hosting company would want that on their servers, most responsible ones would even explicitly say that in their TOS.

Please note: Thats the overall server load of lunarpage server does not reflect your site load at all.

So does not help !! There might be other users on server too using resources and what not !!

what you show there are server wide numbers, not for your account only, so this information is not really usable.
besides that it doesn't seem this server is under a very high load at the moment.

Before a few years i was on lunarpages. And that was the reason how i let them. I use only one normal forum. Nothing special. IN the begin everything was ok. When they see i start to have many visitors they do everything for to make me to i go. And that i have do. I stay away from them, is better for you. Do the same

Guys, they emailed me again... AFTER a couple hours of removing the proxy.

Your account appears to continue to utilize excessive resources Please note that the acceptable usage range for shuttle and voyager plans is 1.0% average %CPU or less, 1.0% average %Memory or less, .5% mysql or less and Top Processes below 20%. Please do not hesitate to contact our support team if you have any further questions we will be happy to assist you further.
livei9 liveitmyway.com
cpu% 7.56
mem% 4.10
sql processes 1.1
Top Process %CPU 18.0 /usr/bin/php

Top Process %CPU 17.0 /usr/bin/php

Top Process %CPU 0.1 [php] Please note that the above mentioned resource usage is due to PHP processing. Since we do not have the exact scripts to provide (since the manner in which PHP scripts are provided on the server only shows the username and not the script name causing the high usage), you would need to review your account for scripts that may be the cause. Please check ones such as forums, blogs, content management systems, and galleries as these are especially likely to create high usage.
Thank you.
Pleaseeeee help me.

Without wanting to state the obvious, have you asked lunarpages for recommendations of how to 'get over' the problems.
Whilst they obviously have to protect others sharing the server with you, they also 'should' value you as an existing customer, and maybe put forward some suggestions.
