How do you know you've learned something?

My professor for my intro to management class asked us this and said there were 5 ways to know that you had learned something. I can only remember 3 of them right now... maybe you can help me figure out the last 2?

    This is what I've got:
-You apply it to your life
    -You understand the concept
    -You can teach the concept
    -???
    -???

    Thanks!

I've taken an Intro to Management class and I don't remember that. A lot of the material in that class can be taught however your professor wants, so I'd imagine that list is specific to his teaching.

Also, a little off-topic, but you misspelled "economics" in your profile.

Usually word "delegate" plays some role in management classes, so
    5) You are comfortable delegating related tasks.
That kind of makes sense, as when you know something it is easy for you to break problem in that field in smaller manageable segments, assign those away and asses the work others do on their assignments. Responsibility of delegating becomes less of burden and more relief.

    5) You can effectively pretend that you know what you are doing.

Looong time ago, during another life, I was a certified flight instructor.
One of the subjects you need to pass a written exam on (to become a CFI) is the 'FOI' or Fundamentals Of Instruction'. The definition (according to the FAA) of learning is: "a change in behavior as a result of experience."

These classes are literally semantics. From a business administration grad, I'll tell you that the language from one class to the other varies immensely. I couldn't tell you what would qualify as learning something under his criteria.
