    A hardware keylogger? damn

    I just stumbled upon this, I'm not sure if it's real or how old it is, but....

    This is one reason why my computer is custom built. They have no right to log whatever I have on my pc. This should really be reported to the media. Let's all write MSNBC.

    very definately not true
    I saw the same pic's on a security site several years ago about a "covert keylogger" they were selling, this is just a rehashed hoax.

    Then why wouldnt they tell him what it was used for?? (In that letter he got back you can see they wouldnt disclose the info!)

    Because the letter is part of the hoax.
    If you have to operate your company behind the scenes or under a fake name, maybe it's time to leave the industry and start something fresh.

    Since a lot of posts have missed it: this is a hoax.

    You can buy hardware keyloggers, but they're meant for 'desktop' keyboards, and just sit inline on the PS/2 cable. At least, that's how the ones I've seen do it.

    It doesn't seem to matter how often this is stated, some people want to buy into the hoax. Scary.
