    Question How to Write the server protected by ....or anything else

    hi all

    When i do Whois for domain name

    by thes Link

    whois.domaintools.com

    See some domain name

    Write like "server protected by ....."

    in the Server Type

    How I do this

    If you're talking about the whois info, you need to contact your domain provider and tell them you want private whois. Godaddy charges $6.99/yr last I checked. Some registrars give them for free with domains.

    Are you wanting to hide your Apache and PHP versions ?

    Yes I know, but I do not mean domain private

    You can turn them off in apache

    ServerTokens ProductOnly
    ServerSignature Off

    You can also turn off showing the PHP version in your php.ini

    ^^ and that would give users whois'ing a ns1.domaincontrol.whatever as the DNS whois?
